Consecutive Wins At Six Nations

England seems to have started off another successful year in rugby. After the end of last season with successive wins and an impressive victory over Australia, this year the team seems to be going strong from the beginning. The latest victory of the team was against Scotland last weekend on 11th March 2017.

This was their second title win in the Six Nations tournaments. The win was an emphatic one with an impressive score of 61 against their opponent team being able to score only 21. As a result the fans as well as the coach are ecstatic for the team when the game got over at Twickenham.

The game had an exciting start when Scotland came on with a resurgent form in the field. However the thrashing that they received from England soon left little doubt that England was a team that would be formidable at their best this year. In fact, theri form has made them one of the most in-demand Rugby teams in the world, with only tickets to Australian matches showing anything like the same number of enquiries.

As a result of this win the coach Eddie Jones is urging the team to consider the final match with Ireland akin to a Rugby World Cup final. A grand slam final match is coming up soon. Indeed, the coach has played a pivotal role in turning around the performance of the England team.

Last year was evidence in how he was able to make the team overcome their shortcomings and become invincible. This year the Six Nations games seem to be testimony to the on-going performance of the team. He is now urging the team to treat this tournament akin to World Cup. That would ensure that they focus on each game and keep up their best efforts to improve their skills and use it as an effective training ground for forthcoming games this year.

The forthcoming match with Ireland is something that every fan of the England rugby team is looking forward to.
